About Buck Lake

Buck Lake is a year-round retreat for people looking to enjoy a summer vacation or a winter break. It is an ideal lake for swimming, boating and fishing.

Buck Lake is located within the County of Wetaskiwin, 145 km southwest of Edmonton and 267 km northwest of Calgary. It is an easy drive from either of the two cities and has amenities close by in two nearby towns. Drayton Valley is located 30 km to the northwest and Rocky Mountain House is 70 km to the south.

The village of Buck Lake is just 5 km away from Hauser's Cove and provides many services such as grocery, fuel, liquor and hardware stores.
